Welcome!
We hope your child joins us on the wonderful journey we will
be having in our preschool-kindergarten this school year.
The following will help give you a picture of the Pre/K class
by providing program details. If you have further questions,

Our
website will be undergoing further additions to provide more
information, including a parent handbook. Please read the
“philosophy” section of this website to gain a better
understanding and feeling for the undertones of the school.
The “curriculum” section does not apply to the Pre/K
program.

Circle Time (Songs, dance, movement, sharing, letter and number
of the week, helper of the day)

Spiritual and Character Development -To start the year, we
will do fun and inspiring activities from “I Came From
Joy” by Lorna Knox. This is a workbook of 26 non-sectarian
lessons, to teach children spiritual qualities needed for
a fulfilling life such as: kindness, love, generosity, and
concentration.
