New Vision School Founder and Teacher "When I decided to return to school to become a teacher it was because my work has always involved teaching children …and teaching children is my absolute passion and gift."
Educational Background:

• I graduated from University with a degree in elementary education and multidisciplinary studies with a license to teach grades kindergarten though eighth. While at school it became apparent to me and to my professors that I had a different vision of education, one that expanded mainstream borders. My program and my professors allowed me, through my research and work, to explore this vision.
• Continuing studies with private tutoring in the Waldorf approach.
  

Work Background:

-Kindergarten teacher at Mosier Community School

-While completing my teaching degree, I worked at The Grove School, a private school in Hood River.

-The Next Door, Youth and Family Services Hood River. Summer Quest outdoor recreation prevention youth coordinator, young women's support group facilitator, level seven caseworker with adolescents, and the coordinator for the Drug Free Communities grant.

-As a native of Hood River, Oregon and the daughter of third generation valley orchardists, I am committed to bringing a new educational vision to this beautiful community.
